Volume 1, Number 6 of the first independent student newspaper on the CSUSM campus. Louetto Construction is fired and San Marcos-based Lusardi Construction takes over as the lead contractor in the first phase of building Cal State San Marcos. Also notable in this issue is a report on the establishment of the Center for the Study of Books in Spanish for Children and Adolescents and an interview with Isabel Schon, Director of the Center and a CSUSM founding faculty member.
