The Paul Ecke Ranch, Inc. Business Records and Family Papers consist primarily of the business and administrative records of The Paul Ecke Ranch, Inc., from its origin in the early 1900s to its eventual sale to the Dutch-based Agribio Group in 2012. The Ecke Ranch was a privately-owned horticulture company that specialized in the development of new varieties of floral products and the production of floral cuttings for sale to growers of finished products. At one point, the Ranch was the world's largest supplier of poinsettia genetics. As of February 2019, the Ecke collection is being processed, arranged, and described.
