35mm Slide Collection

The Paul Ecke Ranch, Inc. Business Records and Family Papers include a significant number of 35mm slides, both in color and black-and-white. In the absence of a master inventory and with limited descriptive information to facilitate indexing, Special Collections at CSUSM Library developed a slide digitization project. Inspired by the Visual Indexes being created at the University of California, Berkeley, researchers can now browse through virtual "contact sheets" of the slides and request specific physical items for viewing at the onsite Reading Room at CSUSM.
