San Diego brewers earned 16\u00a0<\/strong>medals at the 2012 World Beer Cup<\/a>. The winners were announced at the Gala Awards Dinner\/Ceremony<\/a>, which took place immediately following the 2012 Craft Brewers\u00a0Conference<\/a>. Out of 95 categories of beer, San Diegans won 5<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>gold medals, 3<\/strong>\u00a0Silver medals, and 8<\/strong>\u00a0Bronze medals. In total, 799 breweries entered 3,921 beers from 54 countries. 218 judges from 27 countries determined the winners.\u00a0The SD winners and their categories are listed below.<\/p>\n
