(and <a href=\"https:\/\/archives.csusm.edu\/westcoastersd\/2011\/01\/03\/eleven\/\" target=\"_blank\">11 in &#8217;11<\/a> member) teamed up with Doug Hasker, brewmaster at Mission Valley&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gordonbiersch.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Gordon Biersch<\/a>, to guide the group through six 5oz. tasters: Victory&#8217;s Braumeister Pils, Victory&#8217;s Prima Pils, Green Flash Brewing Co&#8217;s\u00a0Fizzy Yellow Beer, Sudwerk&#8217;s Pilsner, Gordon Biersch&#8217;s Pilsner, and Avery&#8217;s Joe&#8217;s Pils<\/p>\n<p>These types of events are a great way for craft beer newcomers and regular devotees alike to figure out what&#8217;s going on with the beers they drink. \u00a0As we&#8217;ve heard many times from <a href=\"http:\/\/homebrewmart.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Home Brew Mart<\/a>&#8216;s GM Colby Chandler, \u00a0&#8220;We all have the tools necessary to decide whether we like a beer or not.
