We’re going to take a break from our regular scheduled programming. Our three weekly features (Brewery Spotlight, Weekly Wednesday, and Friday 5Q) will all be on pause until November 18, 2011. I’ll explain…<\/p>\n

-We are currently in production for our 20 page, 1 year anniversary, SDBW issue. This monster issue is going to be awesome, and we’re putting the final touches on it right now. With production at the end of October, and SDBW at the beginning of November we don’t have a lot of free time here at WCHQ!<\/p>\n

-Speaking of San Diego Beer Week<\/a>. It’s coming. Soon. You can count on us to provide good information throughout SDBW. This website will shift its content into “Beer Week Mode.” Our intent is to give you all the tools necessary to get the most out of your 10-day beer-drinking ashram. As is the last minute nature of these things, events are still pouring in our inbox at this time. \u00a0We’re holding off on updating our calendar until we think mostly everyone has sent in their events. \u00a0Expect us to be quiet while we finish up November’s issue (printing this week), and then expect us to get really noisy about SDBW. Look for the calendar to be updated with a post of our pick on events next week.<\/p>\n

-Instead of printing a January issue (which means working through the December holidays for us – not awesome), we’re going to print a combined December\/January issue. It will be packed with tons of content to help you through the brutal San Diegan winter. Website content will be light and holiday-themed. Anyone interested in cool craft beer gift ideas or advertising their cool craft beer gift idea should know that we will be printing a Winter Savings & Gift Guide in this issue (please contact ads@westcoastersd.com<\/a> for more info).<\/p>\n
