Last month, former vice president of beer, <strong>Marc Martin<\/strong>, resigned from San Diego\u2019s longest-operating post-Prohibition Era brewing company to accept a CEO position at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/smallbatchpets.com\/about\">smallbatch<\/a><\/strong>, an organic pet food producer. And more recently, Karl Strauss let go of its brewmaster of brewery operations, <strong>Matt Johnson<\/strong>, as part of a larger organizational restructuring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKarl Strauss has had the luxury of having two\nbrewmasters working together within the company for the past several years,\u201d\nsays vice president of sales and marketing <strong>Chad\nHeath<\/strong>. \u201cUnder new leadership,\nthe company has made the decision to consolidate the brewmaster duties under <strong>Paul Segura<\/strong>. As brewmaster for 13 of his 20 years at Karl\nStrauss, Paul has led us in brewing innovation and collaboration. Under this\nnew leadership structure, we look forward to continued success and growth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to Segura assuming sole ownership of the\nbrewmaster role, adjustments in the executive management structure have been\nmade following Martin\u2019s departure.
