In-the-know San Diego beer fans have been buzzing about a potential new East Village spot founder <strong>Tomme Arthur<\/strong> and company have been working to secure. That project is very much alive, but it turns out the next public venue The Lost Abbey opens will be located in North County\u2019s San Elijo community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\nlove the San Elijo neighborhood, so much so I happen to live there,\u201d says\nArthur of the San Marcos sub-region. \u201cEven though our brewhouse is less than\nten miles away, the village of San Elijo feels a whole world away.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>San Elijo is a primarily residential community built around the San Elijo Village Town Center, which includes multiple retail and hospitality businesses. The Lost Abbey will take up residence in a 2,200-square-foot space at <strong>1215 San Elijo Drive<\/strong> that was previously occupied by a \u00adwine-centric restaurant called <strong>Caf\u00e9<\/strong> <strong>Stoked<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to indoor space, the new spot sports a street-facing patio and courtyard. There is also a kitchen that The Lost Abbey will open up to mobile caterers and utilize for private events. A dozen of The Lost Abbey\u2019s beers will be available on tap along with vintage bottles and packaged beer from its pair of sister interests, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.portbrewing.com\">Port Brewing<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thehopconcept.com\">The Hop Concept<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company is in the process of completing the permitting process, awaiting response from the City of San Marcos and California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
