September 20-22 | Wet Hop Festival: <\/strong>There is no greater champion of local, wet hop beers than Tom Nickel<\/strong>. September 21 | San Diego Festival of Beer<\/a>: <\/strong>Driven by philanthropy and an idea that was ahead of its time, the local volunteer group behind this suds soiree came up with the idea for an annual beer festival that is now San Diego\u2019s longest-running event of its kind. A quarter-century later, it\u2019s still going strong and, more importantly, still raising money to fight cancer. September 28-29 | Oktoberfest: <\/strong>With German heritage dating back over a century, it\u2019s no surprise Eppig Brewing<\/a><\/strong> goes big for O-fest.
