That Vista-based operation\u2019s <strong>Prohibition Station<\/strong> opened to the public in February at <strong>136 North Main Street<\/strong> and, though a bit of a work in progress, has been well received according to head brewer <strong>Jay Dominy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe location seemed a perfect fit for us,\u201d he says. \u201cOver the years, we have gotten lots of positive feedback from the Fallbrook community and, being at the tail end of Vista, a lot of the locals had already been frequenting our restaurant location. It\u2019s also untapped territory compared to our neighboring cities around North County.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/archives.csusm.edu\/westcoastersd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Pro_Station_Int_2.jpg?resize=1024%2C768&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22260\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/archives.csusm.edu\/westcoastersd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Pro_Station_Int_2.jpg?w=1024&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/archives.csusm.edu\/westcoastersd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Pro_Station_Int_2.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/archives.csusm.edu\/westcoastersd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Pro_Station_Int_2.jpg?resize=768%2C576&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Able to fit 50 patrons, Prohibition Station currently has 16 taps\u2019 worth of the brewery\u2019s beer available, covering a wide variety of styles, including the 2019 San Diego International Beer Festival silver-medal-winning ProCo IPA. It is outfitted in d\u00e9cor dotted with touches from the Vista flagship, including wall-mounted, handcrafted Tommy guns and a long wooden bar with military challenge coins embedded into it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Business at Prohibition\u2019s pair of venues has been promising enough that ownership is currently working to install another tasting room location in Escondido. The time table for that project is a bit of a moving target. What is certain are Prohibition Station\u2019s hours of operation.
