Located at <strong>631 Ninth Avenue<\/strong>, the \u201cInvigatorium\u201d will serve Modern Times coffee and java-infused drinks. That will be the extent of the brewery-slash-roastery\u2019s involvement as CH (the restaurant group behind <strong>Born and Raised<\/strong>, <strong>Craft and Commerce<\/strong>, <strong>Neighborhood<\/strong> and a bevy of other local eateries and bars) will take the lead as far as venue management and staffing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than a year ago, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cismontanebrewing.com\">Cismontane Brewing<\/a> <\/strong>owners <strong>Evan Weinberg <\/strong>and <strong>Ross Stewart <\/strong>announced they had acquired a patio-equipped building at <strong>239 East Valley Parkway <\/strong>in Escondido. The slow-moving full-service espresso bar and eatery project is still active, but it will no longer go by the name Kn\u00f8 Beverage House. Weinberg and Stewart have dropped the Norse reference in favor of the simpler-to-pronounce <strong>Beverage House<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last month, fledgling hard-kombucha company <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.juneshine.co\">JuneShine<\/a> <\/strong>announced it had acquired the 23,000-square-foot production brewery formerly operated by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ballastpoint.com\">Ballast Point Brewing<\/a><\/strong> at <strong>10051 Old Grove Road <\/strong>in Scripps Ranch. Now, it is actively seeking to lease 619 square feet of kitchen space to a food-service tenant. This does not include kitchen equipment.
