That interest lasted less than a year, with its owners citing issues with high rent, low visibility, and lack of marketing support from leasing party, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hgfenton.com\"><strong>H.G. Fenton<\/strong><\/a>, as prime reasons for their cautious early exit. Today, that space will reopen with a new tenant, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.papamarces.com\"><strong>Papa Marce\u2019s Cerveceria<\/strong><\/a>, the product of an owner and brewer who worked together at Vista\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.indianjoebrewing.com\"><strong>Indian Joe Brewing<\/strong><\/a>, before moving on to realize the former\u2019s vision.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/archives.csusm.edu\/westcoastersd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_4229.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-20817\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/archives.csusm.edu\/westcoastersd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_4229.jpg?resize=300%2C225&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/archives.csusm.edu\/westcoastersd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_4229.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/archives.csusm.edu\/westcoastersd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_4229.jpg?resize=768%2C576&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/archives.csusm.edu\/westcoastersd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_4229.jpg?w=1024&amp;ssl=1 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Mark Amador<\/strong> handled sales for Indian Joe after many years spent serving other breweries in that capacity. Head brewer <strong>Grant Heuer <\/strong>has less years to his r\u00e9sum\u00e9, having only recently moved to San Diego after a pair of brewing stints in Murrieta and Las Vegas. Together, they are putting together a wide-ranging portfolio of beers. The following is the opening-day tap list:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Papa Shaka Mexican-style Lager<\/li>\n<li>Loop de Lupe Hazy IPA<\/li>\n<li>Agave Caliente Imperial IPA<\/li>\n<li>Punky Br\u00fctster Brut IPA (collaboration with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.3punkales.com\"><strong>Thr3e Punk Ales Brewing<\/strong><\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Sour Gose<\/li>\n<li>L\u00edmon Gose<\/li>\n<li>Imperial Red Sour Ale<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Amador expects more beers to become available next week, including a West Coast IPA and some barrel-aged, fruited sour-ale variations. Papa Marce\u2019s will be open <strong>Mondays and Tuesdays from 4 to 8 p.m.<\/strong>, <strong>Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 9 p.m.<\/strong>, <strong>Fridays from 3 to 10 p.m.<\/strong>, <strong>Saturdays from 12 to 10 p.m.<\/strong> and <strong>Sundays from 12 to 7 p.m.<\/strong> The business is located at <strong>5840 El Camino Real, Suite 100<\/strong>, directly next-door to fellow Brewery Igniter tenant\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rouleurbrewing.com\"><strong>Rouleur Brewing<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The last time we checked in on the left-hand suite at Carlsbad\u2019s Brewery Igniter\u00a0campus, it was being vacated by Wiseguy Brewing.
