The team built the space out with a bar, used-barrel belly bars and even an assortment of artistic touches on the walls. Then, they decided not to utilize the space and rely 100% on bottle-release events to sell the company\u2019s product. Once again they have changed their mind\u2026sort of. Now, California Wild Ales will open its \u201cbarrel house\u201d in \u201cpop-up\u201d fashion, communicating via social media when they decide to roll up their garage door to let people in and serve their assortment of sour beers, five of which were available during last Saturday\u2019s inaugural pop-up. California Wild Ales is located at <strong>4202 Sorrento Valley Boulevard, Suites L and M<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Last March, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coronadobrewing.com\"><strong>Coronado Brewing<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0announced it had secured space at a new, 7,000-square-foot building at Imperial Beach\u2019s Bikeway Village near the Bayshore Bikeway. The plan was to install an eatery equipped with a 10-barrel brewhouse. Those plans are currently on hold as the building, which is located at <strong>535 Florence Street<\/strong>, is currently for sale. Coronado officials report that all options are still on the table, and they may still end up proceeding with the project, but they are exploring what is best for the company. Fenton<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s North Park campus. That multi-tiered brewery-and-tasting-room space is now under the control of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.juneshine.co\"><strong>JuneShine<\/strong><\/a>, a company setting out to brew alcoholic kombucha. Typically, kombucha\u2019s alcohol-by-volume comes in under one percent, but the one percent for this business will be its One Percent For the Planet status. The project is slated to debut this summer and will be a neighbor to fellow CRAFT by Brewery Igniter tenants, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eppigbrewing.com\"><strong>Eppig Brewing<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pariahbrewing.com\"><strong>Pariah Brewing<\/strong><\/a> at <strong>3052 El Cajon Boulevard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s time for more quick hits from around San Diego County\u2019s brewing industry, where something\u2019s always going on and news moves fast.
