The inaugural Brew & Food Festival takes place Saturday, August 29, 2015<\/span>,<\/span> in the new Waterfront Park. More than 70 independent breweries supply specialties, <\/span>seasonals<\/span> and some of your favorite craft beers while over 20 of the region\u2019s finest culinary tastemakers<\/span> prepare craft beer-styled and <\/span>infused dishes. <\/span><\/p>\n

Participating breweries<\/span> include <\/span>Stone Brewing Co., Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits, Pizza Port Brewing Co., The Lost Abbey, <\/span>AleSmith<\/span> Brewing Co., Avery Brewing, Breckenridge Brewery, Bell\u2019s and many more<\/span>. <\/span>Culinary partners include<\/span> Bracero <\/span>Cocina<\/span> de <\/span>Raiz<\/span>,<\/span> <\/span>Bottega<\/span> Americano, <\/span>Mexikosher<\/span>, <\/span>Parq<\/span> Restaurant & Nightclub,<\/span> The Patio Group<\/span>, Embargo Grill, The Regal Seagull and other amazing restaurants<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Local industry expert \u201cDr.<\/span>\u201d<\/span> Bill Sysak of Stone Brewing Company, who has collaborated with Motley Brews on Nevada\u2019s largest craft beer festival, the Great Vegas Festival of Beer, will also assist in curating some of the specialty elements of the festival such as <\/span>beer and food pairings in the <\/span>Mad Craft VIP area. <\/span><\/p>\n

Located in the heart of the event, Mad Craft <\/span>treats <\/span>VIP ticke<\/span>t holders <\/span>to the best selection of special-reserve pours and limited one-off beers crafted specifically for the Brew & Food Festival, along with complimentary tastes from dishes created by some of<\/span> the region\u2019s most elite chefs including Chef Javier <\/span>Plascencia<\/span> of <\/span>Grupo<\/span> <\/span>Plascencia<\/span> and Chef David Warner of <\/span>Bottega<\/span> Americano.<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, the B<\/span>rew & Food Festival <\/span>deliver<\/span>s<\/span> a variety of music-focused <\/span>offerings, which<\/span> include Down North (Seattle), The Routine (San Diego), and Jonny <\/span>Tarr<\/span> (San Diego) on the main stage. And to further tantalize the senses, the festival also<\/span> features the Silent Disco Dome. F<\/span>eaturing DJ sets and special live electronic instrumentation, <\/span>the <\/span>Silent Disco will give<\/span> festival-goers a chance to take a break from noshing and swigging to get their groove on<\/span> under the dome<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Brew & Food Festival is a multisensory experience that unites the craft beer, culinary, and music festival communities, challenging your perceptions of a traditional beer tasting event.
