Head brewer Jim Crute will be present to mingle, and a special cask of barrel-aged Black Lightning Porter will be pouring. It’s also a Keep-the-Pint night!<\/p>\n 5P<\/strong> –\u00a0Aloha Happy Hour w\/ Maui Brewing @ Small Bar <\/a>– 5.00 Pints & 3.50 Refills of Mana Wheat, Big Swell IPA, Rye IPA, XPA<\/p>\n Weekly Wednesday Events Thursday 5\/12<\/span><\/p>\n 2P –<\/strong> AleSmith taps a cask of their IPA tomorrow at 2pm.\u00a0This deliciously hoppy IPA pairs well with cask conditioning! Pours will be $3.00 for 12oz.<\/p>\n 6P – <\/strong>LoveLikeBeer Vegan Beer Night @ Sea Rocket Bistro<\/a>. LLB<\/a> is a new organization that puts out vegan food and craft beer events and this is their inaugural vegan beer pairing. For more info, click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Weekly Thursday Events Friday 5\/13<\/span><\/p>\n 11A – 3P – <\/strong>Progressive Cask @ BLAH<\/a>. $2 beers from the cask 11A-2P, then $3 beers until 3PM. Thank you Jeff Reynolds for sending this in!<\/em><\/p>\n Saturday 5\/14<\/span><\/p>\n 11A<\/strong> – Port \/ Lost Abbey’s<\/a> 5th Anniversary Celebration will take place in two sessions, one 11a-3p and the other 4p-8p. $15 admission for 8 tastings, food, and taster glass. For more information, click here<\/a>. ALSO, this is the release date for the 2011 vintage of Older Viscosity, their American Dark Strong Ale aged in used bourbon barrels for a year. To celebrate they’ll be tapping this year\u2019s release as well as previous vintages in the tasting room. $15 for a 375ml bottle.<\/p>\n 12P-3P – <\/strong>Home Brews & Gardens will be hosting an All-Grain Brewing Class<\/a>. Straight from the facebook event page: “We will show you how to build your own mash-tun, walk you through mashing and sparging and teach you how to brew a batch from start to finish! This is a perfect class for beginners or those who want to make the transition from extract to all grain brewing.” No price is mentioned but the classes are generally $15. If you were lucky enough to grab one of the Groupons yesterday, this is your first chance to use it!<\/p>\n 2P – <\/strong>Karl Strauss’ 8th Annual Beach to Brewery Beer + Music Fest. Taking place at Karl’s main brewery location in eastern PB, this concert \/ beer festival hybrid will host 4 local bands and 22 beers. \u00a0$25 pre-sale or $30 at the door gets you 5 tasters, access to brewery tours, and a cool taster glass. 5 additional tasters are $10, and full pours are $5 each.
