Two Karl Strauss posts in one day? Whatever, man, they’re doing news-worthy work.<\/p>\n

If anyone knows how to throw a party it\u2019s the San Diego Press Club<\/a>. They have the longest schmooze hours of any event. What\u2019s cool is they invite a host of restaurants to cater food at individual booths. That way, you eliminate the dull rubber chicken dinner and knosh on great stuff from the likes of Cowboy Star<\/a>, Marine Room<\/a>, Bertrands at Mr. A\u2019s<\/a>, Jsix<\/a>, and Addison\u2019s<\/a> – just to name a few.<\/p>\n

And, why was West Coaster there? For the beer of course!
\nKarl Strauss had a monopoly on the event with the only beer booth. They also poured full pints non-stop until the last award. It was bottled, but no complaints. Full (free) plastic cup of Red Trolley<\/a>, Tower Ten IPA<\/a>, Oktoberfest<\/a>, Amber<\/a>, or Woodie Gold<\/a>? Yes, please.<\/p>\n
