County reinstates coronavirus restrictions

June 29, 2020 By Ryan Lamb

“Going into effect midnight tomorrow, we will be closing all bars, wineries, and breweries in San Diego County that do not have a license to serve food,” said County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher. At time of press, it was unclear if these spaces would be able to bring in a licensed food vendor like in late May. Update: these businesses may partner with a licensed food vendor; food and alcohol must be paid for in the same transaction; and consumption while standing is not permitted.

WATCH: Starting midnight tomorrow, San Diego County will close all bars, wineries and breweries that don't serve food.

San Diego was not required by the state to do so but Supervisor Fletcher said it was "wise" to "take this action now" amid rising cases. https://t.co/H9GjCssgMY pic.twitter.com/hXC4LwE5WT
