Small-batch spirits (and large amounts of hand sanitizer!) at Miramar’s Seven Caves Spirits

May 6, 2020 By Sponsored Post

Supporting local companies is more important now than ever, and it’s especially easy and flavorful with Seven Caves Spirits. Owner Geoff Longenecker, in addition to his role as president of the San Diego Distiller’s Guild, has been busy producing both spirits and hand sanitizer (with Bill Rogers and his team at Liberty Call) for the San Diego community.

Seven Caves is currently fulfilling orders and maintaining social distance, complete with gloves and mask, in Miramar. The easiest way to make your order is by buying online and selecting “in-store pick up” at checkout, as we’re currently not taking orders with cash. Pick-up windows include Tuesdays/Thursdays from 10am to 2pm, and Friday/Saturday noon to 4 p.m.  Seven Caves can also ship anywhere in California!

Here are a few year-round products available:

  • “Red Label Rum” (Currently R16, aged 24 months in new oak barrels)
  • Jasmine Tea Rum (a collab with the amazing PARU Tea Bar)
  • Tiki Gin (pineapple, passion fruit, tangerine)
  • La Jolla Kelp Gin (kelp, Meyer lemon, coriander)

In addition, limited quantities of R15 Bourbon Barrel Aged Rum and Spring ’20 gin, distilled with juniper, blood oranges, lavender, and lemongrass are available while supplies last. We also offer a rum barrel-aged maple syrup that is perfect for rum old fashioned (and those pancakes for dinner… because why not?)

During these crazy times, Seven Caves is still donating 4oz bottles of hand sanitizer for personal use, while supplies last. There’s no purchase required; you can get it at the same times listed above. Seven Caves and Liberty Call are also selling and donating larger quantities to first responders, service workers, and restaurants!
