Around the start of the New Year, Booze Brothers Brewing soft-opened its tasting room in Oceanside. It’s the first satellite venture for the six-year-old Vista-based brewing company. Located at 606 Mission Avenue, it comes in at 1,869 square feet, has a full food menu available via a pass-through with neighboring Rosewood Kitchen and is open seven-days-a-week.
Feeling they have their feet beneath them and a service rhythm struck, Booze Brothers management has a date set for the venue’s grand opening. That event will take place from noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday, January 25. Included in the 14 taps’ worth of fermentables pouring that day will be an all-Oceanside beer called Hello Neighbor. That 7% alcohol-by-volume IPA was brewed in collaboration with nearby Breakwater Brewing and Northern Pine Brewing, fermented with Kveik yeast, and hopped with Idaho 7, Simcoe and the Falconer’s Flight blend.
Can’t make the grand-opening party? No problem. Another opportunity for boozy celebration is on the near horizon. Booze Brothers will be holding a two-year anniversary event for its sister brand of exotic fermentables, Owl Farm Beer, at its Vista brewery on Friday, January 31.
