Seafood-centric North Park eatery Beerfish has a rather unique craft beer concept in the hopper: a brewery. Converting a venue to a brewpub with the addition of nano-sized equipment is nothing new to San Diego, where this model has been employed by the likes of Escondido’s Plan 9 Alehouse and Del Cerro’s KnB Bistro. What makes Beerfish’s brewery plan its own animal is owner Abel Kaase’s intention to have the brewery operated exclusively by a rotating cast of guest brewers, making each beer a “collaboration.”
