Do you like Mead? What about Beer, Wine, or Tart/Sour Ale? Are you interesting in helping a botanical garden with over a decade of public education and preservation of all things green and growing?
If so, we hope you’ll participate in the Meading At The Garden Beer and Mead Festival onSunday, April 3 in the Alta Vista Botanical Gardens at the top of Brengle Terrace Park in Vista, CA. Sponsored by the UCSD Extension Brewing Program, this year’s event is shaping up to be bigger and better than last year. We have over 30 breweries and homebrewers joining in the fun! The silent bottle auction features over 70 bottles of uncommon and rare ale and mead. There will also be raffle prizes given away throughout the event! A VIP 5-course gourmet mead and food pairing will preface the main event for all you foodies out there, and we have Porter’s Pub and The Sushi Bus this year for a wide selection of food during the main event. Free filtered water will also be available. David J from Love and Rockets and Bauhaus fame will play the VIP stage from 11-1, while Gringo & Blake, Boondock Brothers, and The Younger Brothers will play on the main stage from 1-5pm.
Come help the earth and have fun doing it on Sunday, April 3. The garden needs your support, so bring all your friends!! Only 100 VIP pairing tickets are available, so get yours before they’re gone. VIP Pairing is 11AM-1PM and General Admission is 1PM-5PM on Sunday, April 3rd.
