Saturday July 18th, South Park’s Belgian beer bar Brabant is hosting an observed Belgian Independence Day celebration. While the authentic Belgian food and beers (served in proper glassware) are served year-round at Brabant, the pub is going crazy tomorrow.
In addition to glassware set giveaways (take home a pair of glassware when you order Hoegaarden, Beersel Lambik or Petrus 50/50), there’s going to be a Julian-raised suckling pig (Speenvarken) packed with root veggies and handmade sausage cooked low & slow, house-made blood sausage made in house with spiced apples & onions, Monkfish & Leek Gratin (Zeeduivel), Eels in green sauce (Paling in t’ Groen), and Shrimp-stuffed tomato (Tomate aux Crevettes)
Wearing red, black and gold is highly encouraged.
