Vista is now home to eleven breweries, with Toolbox Brewing crafting their first beer today, a tart saison with Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus harvested by local homebrewers.
Award-winning homebrewer-turned-pro Peter Perrecone is at the helm of the three-barrel brewhouse, with a love for funky and sour beers that knows no end.
For the hop heads, Perrecone will also create a few types of IPA for the tasting room’s TBD opening. Rumor has it he even makes homemade soap using hops! No word yet on whether these creations will be available at the bar.
