The second annual Pints for Pets support drive starts today at Escondido’s Offbeat Brewing Company.

$1 from each pint of Felicita Session IPA goes to the brewery’s local humane society, and pet adoption day is this Saturday from 1 – 4 p.m. Fundraising efforts will continue through Sunday, May 11.

Pints for Pets started last year after Bailey, beloved puggle belonging to Offbeat owners Tom and Sarah Garcia (shown top center in the photo), was hit by a car.

“The day after we lost her, I called the Escondido Human Society to see if there something positive that Tom and I could do in her memory,” said Sarah. “Then I realized that we have so many customers who love animals – and the more people we get involved, the more of an impact we could make.”
