Harrah’s Rhythm & Brews 3rd Annual Musical & Beer Festival
While the San Diego Brewers Guild previously had their one big festival in the fall, now there’s another, and it’s taking place in Vista on Saturday. There will be 50 breweries (the vast majority are local) along with food vendors and nine bands on three stages. Buy a VIP ticket ($60 – 11 a.m. entry with unlimited sampling and a commemorative cup) and you’ll have the chance to attend two mini workshops hosted by UC San Diego Extension and SDSU College of Extended Studies. General admission tickets are $50 online, and designated driver tickets are $20. This event raises funds for the San Diego Brewers Guild and Relay for Life; consider taking public transportation!

Chefs Celebration – 12 Chefs. 12 Courses. 12 Beers.
This fourth annual event is hosted by Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station. Chef Celebration San Diego is a collaborative effort by more than 50 award-winning local chefs who donate their time, talent and energy to raise money for a nonprofit culinary scholarship program. Over the past twelve years, Chef Celebration has distributed in excess of $60,000 in scholarships. The food and beers (listed online) were paired by Stone Brewing Co. Craft Beer Ambassador and Certified Cicerone Dr. Bill Sysak. Tickets are $55 for this 12 – 3 p.m. event.
Eco Caters w/ Pizza Port & BRI @ Porters Pub
Eco Caters is once again teaming up with Pizza Port for a Storytellers Dinner, where five courses are paired with five beers as well as five songs from a local artist (see our post from the last Storytellers Dinner here). There are two seatings to this all-vegetarian beer dinner, one at 5 p.m. and the other at 8 p.m.; tickets are $62.
