On Tuesday, October 22 SoCal BOB, LLC will put on their latest symposium. This time, the focus is “Breweries in Growth.”
Two panel discussions will take place involving some local industry heavy-hitters. The “Brewery Growth — Pain and Pleasure” panel will be moderated by Tomme Arthur (Port Brewing/The Lost Abbey) and include Mike Hinkley (Green Flash); Jim Crute (Lightning), Jeff Trevaskis (Manzanita); and Patrick Rue (The Bruery).
“The Next Step — Dream, Design, Build & Brew” panel will be moderated by William Camacho (Urban Contracting, Inc.), and feature Dustin Hauck (Hauck Architecture); Chris Slowey (Urban Contracting, Inc.); Burt Munger (InteliBrew); and Joe Mucher (Pacific Rim Mechanical).
Other speakers scheduled are Tom McCormick (Executive Director, California Craft Brewers Association: CA Craft Brewing Legislation); Candace L. Moon, Esq. (The Craft Beer Attorney: Get Your Legal Issues in Order); David McKinley (Principal, McKinley Engineering: Environmental Triggers for SoCal Brewing Businesses); Dan Drown, CIH (Drown Consulting, LLC: Brewery Safety – Common Oversights); Burt Munger (Principal, InteliBrew: Intelligent Use of Automated Process Controls); Todd Davis (Cassidy Turley: Finding the Perfect Place to Expand); and Russ Gibbon (Business Development Manager, City of San Diego Development Services Dept.: Discussion of San Diego’s Economic Growth Services Dept.)
This event will take place from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Admiral Baker Clubhouse. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. The ticket price is $195/person.
