Bay Park’s The High Dive is back with another Chicks for Beer event benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This month they’ve paired with Ballast Point, whose head brewer/distiller Yuseff Cherney will be on hand to talk about his beers and spirits.

The event starts at 7 p.m. tonight and tickets are $25 online or $30 at the door for tasters, food pairings and an additional drink of your choice.

The menu: sweet & sour cucumber spring rolls paired with Ballast Point gun cucumber gimlet; salad with marinated skirt steak paired with Longfin Lager; shrimp tacos paired with Habanero Sculpin IPA; wahoo tacos with Mexican white corn, cotija cheese and cilantro sauce paired with Thai chili Wahoo Wheat (for non-seafood eaters, the last two dishes can be substituted with carne asada, chicken or veggie tacos); Ballast Point barrel-aged rum soaked-raisin ice cream with candied walnuts and caramel paired with Nitro Copper Ale; Spanish coffee from local roasters Caffé Calabria with Ballast Point barrel-aged rum.
