Originally created as a specialty beer for URBN North Park’s two-year anniversary back in October, Hess Brewing’s new batch of Validus American strong ale goes on tap this Thursday at 6 p.m. as part of a flight that also includes the beer’s barrel-aged version, and a sample of the whiskey from that same barrel.
The flight is $8 on Thursday, or $10 after, for six ounces of each beer, 1 oz of whiskey, and a collectible mini-snifter. Larger pours of Validus and barrel-aged Validus can be purchased for $6 and $7, respectively.
