Karl Strauss Brewfestivus – Don your ugliest holiday sweater and try a few beers inside the Karl Strauss PB brewery from 6 – 9 p.m. Tickets are $40 for an event taster glass, seven 5 oz beers, street tacos and a 22 oz bottle of this year’s holiday fruitcake ale, Mouette A Trois. Buy tix online in case there aren’t any at the door.
Pizza Port Strong Ale Festival (Day 1/2) – Sample from a list of more than 70 beers over 8% ABV from 4 – 11 p.m. VIP is sold out; regular session tickets are $35 at the door for a commemorative glass and eight 4 oz tasters, with additional tasters $1 each (some really special beers cost double). Pizza Port Strong Ale Festival (Day 2/2) – same format, different time: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Bikes, Boards and Brews – Take in a beer fest on the bay at this year’s Bikes, Boards and Brews event benefitting Discover PB. $25 online or $30 at the door includes 10 tasters, food pairings from local restaurants and live entertainment with local artists and bands from noon – 4 p.m. Check out the brewery and grub list and buy tickets here.
2nd Saturday at Hamilton’s – Choose from 15 different AleSmith beers, plus two dueling casks, at this month’s 2nd Saturday starting at 3 p.m. A complimentary feast is available for all beer buyers that includes smoked honey ham, spiced yams, sausage cornbread stuffing and more.
