Tonight starting at 6 p.m. visit URBN Coal Fired Pizza in North Park for a horizontal flight of house “(b)urbn,” a Hess Brewing imperial stout named Ex Umbris that was aged in the same Elmer T. Lee barrel for eight months, plus the unadulterated version of Ex Umbris. This is a unique opportunity to check out what barrel-aging does to a beer by tasting all the components. The cost is $22 per flight and includes a Hess/(b)urbn keeper glass. Chef Jo Ann Plympton also created a special duck pizza topped with homemade hoisin and scallions meant to pair with your flight.
