9/7 Wednesday, 5:30PM – San Salvador Saison release at The Linkery
Enjoy special Saisons paired with fresh and organic dishes. Specialty Brewer, Colby Chander from Ballast Point will be in house for the event. More info here.
9/8 Thursday, 5-10PM –Ballast Point Beer Dinner at Sea Rocket Bistro
5 seafood courses paired with 5 Ballast Point Brewing’s fish-named beers for $60. Reservations are highly recommended. Walk-ins are welcomed. More info here.
9/9 Friday, 6-11 PM 17th Annual San Diego Festival of Beer
Columbia and B Street in Downtown will be taken over! SDFoB is expanding to provide more space and beer variety! $40 admission to the event includes 10, 4 oz. tasters. Additional tasters and food will be sold. More info here.
9/10 Saturday, 5PM 2nd Saturday with Ballast Point at Hamiltons
Get there early for this one. 9/12 Monday, 7-9PM Beer U: Double IPAs at Stone Brewing Co.
Via Stone’s website: Americans are recognized worldwide as having a penchant for hoppy beers, and California in particular is renowned for creating the hoppiest of them all: the Double IPA. “Dr.” Bill Sysak, will lead the evening’s presentation, covering the history and tasty variations of this decidedly big and bold So Cal classic. If you are one of the many self-proclaimed hopheads in town, you won’t want to miss this chance to learn more about your favorite beer style as you sample some of the best available!
9/13 Tuesday, 6PM Steak Night at Toronado
Every Tuesday until further notice, Chef Nate Soroko (featured in September’s West Coaster) will cook up a steak dinner. The steak dinner along with a local pint is $15. This week’s steak comes with white cheddar macaroni, asparagus, and garlic bread.
9/14 Wednesday, 7PM Iron Fist Beer Pairing Dinner at Local Habit
Tasty new local food and beer-centric restaurant Local Habit hosts it’s inaugural beer dinner with Iron Fist. High hopes for this one, as Local Habit’s food is awesome. For more info and tickets, click here.
