830P – Stone Late Night Movies Kickoff w/ Office Space. Stone’s bringing out their movie screen and dropping it in the World Gardens every week over the summer. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets (Escondido is COLD at night), and Stone will provide beer, food, and movies. More info, here.

Thursday 6/9
11A – 10P – Tasty homegrown BBQ empire Phil’s BBQ will host a Ballast Point Total Tap Takeover. Beers on tap will be: Yellowtail, Sculpin IPA, Even Keel Session IPA, Abandon Ship Smoked Lager, Tounge Buckler Imperial Red, Wahoo Wheat, Sextant Stout, and Black Marlin Porter.
2P – Firkin Thursday @ AleSmith. The now frequent cask event held at AleSmith will host a firkin of Summer Yulesmith. 12oz pours are $4.
7P – Green Flash Tasting @ Press Box Sports Lounge. Press Box holds awesome monthly tastings with plenty of beer, unlimited tasty finger food, and live music – all for $25.

Friday 6/10
1130A – Hanger 24 Flights + Bloody Orange DIPA cask @ Blind Lady Ale House. The brewery that launched BLAH will return with flights and a progressive cask. $2 cask beers until 2pm, $3 until 3PM, $4 until 4PM and then $5 onwards.
3P – Beer Release: Green Flash Treasure Chest. Green Flash will be releasing a charity Belgian Pale Ale, Treasure Chest, this Friday at 3PM. 100% of the beer has been donated, and 100% of the proceeds will benefit local charity Chicks for Beer.
4P – Chula Vista craft beer spot La Bella Pizza will host a cask of Simcoe-hopped Stone IPA. $4 pints and $10 pitchers.
7P – Beer Hall @ The Lodge at Torrey Pines. 8 local chefs will create beer pairings with 8 local beers. If you’re going to pick one event out of this entire post, pick this one. For more information, check out our post and the event website.

Saturday 6/11
1130A – Straight from BLAH’s newsletter: “On Saturday, June 11, starting at 11:30 am, we will have the new Ommegang & La Chouffe collaboration with a limited amount of keeper glasses. It’s a Belgian style strong that comes in at 9.5% and fermented with Chouffe yeast in the primary and finished with Ommegang yeast. We will also have a few of their other beers on as well.”
12P- Real Ale Brunch @ The Ritual. Starting at noon on Saturday, The Ritual Tavern will have a cask of New English Brewers Special Brown Ale and $4 pours.
1P – 5P – Left Coast Brewing Company (brewers for many Oggi’s locations) will host the San Clemente Beer Festival. Local breweries featured will be: Mother Earth, Green Flash, Ballast Point, and Oggi’s. Tickets are $25 dollars can be found here along with more information.
5P – Hamilton’s 2nd Saturday with Coronado Brewing Company will be massive with over 20 Coronado beers on tap as well as two casks. This should be fun.
Sunday 6/12
6P – Home Brew Mart will host a beginner’s brew class tonight for $10. Limited to 25 people, this promises to be a great resource for budding brewers. If you want to get started in homebrewing, learn from the best! More information, contact Home Brew Mart 619-295-2337
630P – O’Brien’s will host a Sierra Nevada Beer Dinner. Steve Grossman (brother of S.N. owner Ken Grossman) of Sierra Nevada will be present. 8 beers and outrageous amounts of food such as lobster bisque, crab cakes, and cured bacon. 6P – In celebration of their tremendous 1st year of existance, MIHO Gastrotruck will be collaborating all week long. Monday, there will be a pint glass giveaway at Blind Lady Ale House.

4P – Brewsday Tuesday w/ Airdale. The Twenty/20 Grill and Wine Bar @ the Sheraton will kick off its summer-long series. Each week, beers from the selected brewery will be paired with dishes from Chef Steven Patrick. For more infomation, click here.
5P – Starting this Tuesday, Automatic Brewing Co. will release a cask of their new beer Tanzanian Devil each day until Saturday. We’re stoked to taste this 3.6% coffee session beer.

830A – AleSmith will be releasing Bourbon Barrel Aged Speedway Stout and Barrel Aged Decadence 2008. Numbers will be given out at 830A, beers to go on sale at 12P. There will be food by MIHO! See below.
10A – MIHO Gastrotruck will be at AleSmith in conjunction with their above beer release and in celebration of their 1st anniversary.
1130A – Blind Lady Ale House will be hosting a Mini Sour Fest featuring Lost Abbey Red Poppy, Russian River Supplication and Consecration, Jolly Pumpkin Maraciabo Especial, Rodenbach Grand Cru, and more!
4P – Stone South Park will open its doors today! This will be a soft opening, and firm store hours will be set once things get rolling. After this day, the store will be closed Mondays, open Tues-Thursday 4-9P, Saturday 11A-9P, and Sunday 12-6P.
5P – Starting this Tuesday, Automatic Brewing Co. will release a cask of their new beer Tanzanian Devil each day until Saturday. We’re stoked to taste this 3.6% coffee session beer.

5P – John Maier, Head Brewer of Rogue Brewing, will be at Small Bar. On tap, “a few ‘choice’ nuggets that we hardly see in our market and especially in draught: Dead Guy, Mogul Madness, Captain Sig, Live Lab Gratzer, Double Mocha Porter, Younger’s Special Bitter, Dad’s Little Helper (Black IPA), Chatoe Orgasmic. Rogue Live Lab Gratzer is a smoked wheat ale that uses 100% smoked wheat and Rogue Micro Hopyard Revolution & Independent Hops. Gratzer comes in around 3.5%abv, which makes for an excellent, flavorful session ale. Live Lab is a small-batch series of beers designed and brewed by John Maier exclusively for the Rogue Ales Public Houses. All Live Lab beers are created using hops and barley from Rogue’s Micro Hopyard & Barley Farm.”
6P – White Labs will celebrate the grand opening of their new location on 9495 Candida St. in conjunction with the Brewing Network’s 6th Anniversary. Proceeds from this event will go to the Beer 4 Boobs organization.
