Designed as a taste of what’s coming this November, for the 3rd year in a row The Grill at Torrey Pines will host Beer Hall this Friday. While the $65 event is not cheap, it’s not every day you’ll attend an 8-course beer pairing dinner that teams up talented San Diegan chefs and delicious San Diego beer.
Beers we’re looking forward to? Ballast Point’s Roasted Serrano Pale Ale, Coronado’s Black Pearl Schwarzbier, and Port’s Truck Stop.
Food? Braised beef cheek or the smoked lamb chorizo w/ poached prawn.
Pairing? The decadent Stone Vanilla Smoked Porter cask paired w/ vanilla gelato, vanilla beans, almond cherries, and chocolate sauce.
