This is straight from Toronado’s email blast and website. Cheers!
“Yes, we’re celebrating our 3rd year. It seems alternately much shorter or longer depending on our mood, but three years it is. The actual date is the 24th (Tuesday) and we’ve decided that since Cable Car holds a special place in our little hearts, we thought it fitting to put on some of the Lost Abbey beers that we’ve been sitting on that Tuesday, with more stuff to go on as space develops. Since Tuesday is kind of a tough day to do things (midweek, and before a 3 day weekend) we’re going to throw a bunch of beers on as things progress; hopefully just a good week of good beer. We’ll start with the Port/ Lost Abbey beers for the 24th:
Cable Car 2010
Red Poppy
Ad Lib
Deliverance
Framboise de Amarosa
Brandy bbl Angel’s Share
Gift of the Magi
Older Viscosity and more…
And throughout the week, a bunch of our favorite beers, including-
Hollister- The Pope IPA, 4th Anniversary Ale, White Star XPA on nitro
RRBC- Supplication, Redemption, Salvation, Happy Hops, CBC Sour Brown (Anchor/ Sierra/ RRBC collab.) Pig, Pliny, etc..
Deschutes- The Abyss 2010
Midnight Sun/ Green Flash collaborative bbl-aged barleywine, the Green Devil
Allagash- Confluence, Odyssey
New Belgium- Le Terroir
Moylan’s- Hopsickle
HOTD- Fred
Ballast Point- Even Keel draft and cask, Sea Monster, Sculpin
A bunch of great Alpine Beers, including a cask of Duet
North Coast- Old Rasputin XII (not many more of these out there, I’m guessing…)
The Bruery- Cuir (it’s their 3rd anniversary beer)
Dogfish Head- Burton Baton, etc., etc…
We’ll have 3rd anniversary T- shirts available starting (we hope) on Tuesday and we’ll be cracking some large bottles from Russian River on Tuesday evening… and be doing some bottle specials all week and bottles of 2010 Cable Car will go for $30 all day Wednesday. In the meantime, we’re trying to make room for all these drafts by offering up some great draft specials today and tomorrow. Remember that we do all of our San Diego beers for just $3 on Monday nights. I hate advertising $3 Poorman’s IPA, but we’re desperate for space, and I’m drinking one now, so that’s the way it is. Thank you all for being on this list, and for your continued patronage over the past couple of years. We’re happy to be here on 30th Street in North Park, and we are looking for good things here at the bar in the months ahead.”
