Tomorrow, The Tipsy Crow is going to host it’s bi-weekly Tap That Cask event. If you’re downtown looking to wet your whistle with San Diego Beer, there will be a cask of Stone Brewing Company’s Pale Ale with Coriander ready to go at 7PM.
While The Tipsy Crow is indeed an advertiser with us, this post wasn’t part of the deal. They are working very hard to cater to the craft beer lover. This is evidenced by their draft, bottle and can list, commitment to events such as this, and little things like the well-organized craft beer menus found at every table. If you haven’t seen this classic San Diego style bar, it’s worth a look. The ‘Crow is also putting out the best selection of craft beer in the bustling alcoholic playground found in the 4th and 5th avenues.
Support the growing Downtown San Diego craft beer circuit!
Protip: If you hate finding parking like I do, you can park at the Horton Plaza parking lot. They do free validation. IMPORTANT: Once you get your ticket from the parking lot machine, you have to validate it yourself. This is done by locating a validation machine outside of Macy’s on the upper and ground floors. If you get lost, just ask any of the vendors. Validation is good for 3 free hours.
Update: As Edwin mentioned in the comments, there’s plenty of parking Downtown on a Tuesday. If you don’t want to deal with the cryptic Horton Plaza lot, this might be a better option. THE CHOICE IS YOURS.
