If you’re looking for a midweek pick-me-up this Wednesday, you’ve got plenty of choices. Starting at 5pm, Small Bar in University Heights will be hosting Vista’s Iron Fist Brewing. On draught with keep-the-glass specials will be the Dubbel Fisted, Hired Hand, Golden Age, Renegade Blonde, The Gauntlet IIPA, and Velvet Glove Imperial Oatmeal Stout. Although the brewery is primarily known for their Belgian-style beers, the last two on this list are impressive to say the least.
Just a bit south, The South Park Abbey will be hosting San Diego CityBeat’s Beer Club for an AleSmith night from 7pm-9pm; brewer Bill Batten will be on hand enjoying the festivities. Sign up online for $1 12oz pours of AleSmith X and ESB!
