2010 San Diego Brewers Guild Festival Recap

November 6, 2010 By Ryan Lamb

West Coaster with Mayor Sanders

Over 3,500 craft beer devotees flocked to Liberty Station this afternoon to celebrate the 2010 San Diego Brewers Guild Festival as San Diego Beer Week officially kicked off.

Mayor Sanders was on hand to start the beer flowing on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

With rare versions of cask beers, delectable culinary treats like PubCakes, a mouthwatering VIP section and more, the Brewers Guild truly pushed the envelope and the energy of the crowd was undeniable.

At the end of the day, a visibly-drained Adam Carbonell, President of the San Diego Brewers Guild, summed it all up:  “We offered the best of the best – The Best Fest.”  He wasn’t kidding – this event was a true showcase of everything San Diego has to offer in terms of craft beer.  We know how to put on the show.

Check out the photos we snapped of the event on our Facebook page, and stay tuned for exclusive updates and news from SDBW right here on our website.
